How is average cost calculated?
Total cost = Σ(quantity × entry price × (1 + fee / 100)); Average = total cost / total quantity
A worked example
Buy 1 coin at $100 and 2 at $70: you hold 3 coins for $240. Your weighted average is $80.
Method and assumptions
Each row is a purchase of the same coin. Fees are paid separately in the quote currency. Selling fees and tax are excluded; this is not a tax-lot cost basis calculator.
