How is the gas fee calculated?
Multiply gas used by the effective gas price, then convert Gwei to ETH. The USD estimate uses the ETH price you enter.
Fee (ETH) = gas used × Gwei ÷ 1,000,000,000
Fee (USD) = fee (ETH) × ETH price
A worked example
21,000 gas at 30 Gwei costs 0.00063 ETH. With ETH at $2,500, that is $1.575, displayed as $1.58.
